Message from Our CEO
Hello, YMWIC Supporters.
Congratulations in advance to the YMWIC Senior Class of 2022. With five out of our seven Chapters once again meeting in person, we are striving to make the 2021-2022 Program Year the best yet. In addition to the Academic Support Systems and resources already available, this year we have introduced a new initiative in which Scholars set and commit to Academic Improvement Goals and commit to dedicate study hours to achieve them to improve their grades in Math, Science, and English. I encourage all our Scholars to stay focused and committed to their goals.
YMWIC continues to grow our partnerships to offer more opportunities to our Scholars. We have enhanced our programming to include a Workforce and Talent Development component. This area has a focus on providing our high school Scholars and alumni with valuable tools and resources to prepare them for the workforce after earning their college degree.
The support of corporations and individuals remains critical to our continued growth. We seek partnerships that will allow us to constantly improve our programming, expand our reach, and further our goal of geographic expansion.
Again, I must thank staff, volunteers, parents, donors, the academic community and partner organizations who continue supporting the YMWIC Foundation to improve and grow each year. We appreciate your dedication and support of our Mission.
We welcome you to join our team of contributors so we can continue to make a positive impact in our communities, in STEM fields and other professional career areas, as well as globally.
