YMWIC Foundation Supporters
The Young Men and Women in Charge Foundation is made possible by collaboration and support from various entities. Enrichment programs are organized and funded through partnerships with corporations, universities, and other nonprofit and community organizations. The Foundation is also supported by generous donations to campaigns funding scholarships and our Foundation’s growth, matching gifts, in-kind donations, Silent Auction donations and participation, Donor Designations through United Way, and Pennsylvania’s EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) Program which awards tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to qualified community organizations (YMWIC is an eligible community nonprofit).
Included in the many funding sources that YMWIC receives is the U.S. Department of Education’s TRIO Upward Bound grant for first-generation college-attending, low-income, and at-risk students, which allows us to reach even more youth in the Coatesville area.

Our committed funders help us fulfill our Mission. We are thankful for their support. Without them, transformative change would be difficult to achieve. Many of these advocates not only give financial support, they also assist with the facilitation, administration, and implementation of our programs. They help us develop innovative ways to expose and stimulate our youth to pursue careers in STEM.
