Message from Our CEO
As Thanksgiving approaches, we would be remiss if we did not give thanks and express our gratitude to each of you for your loyalty, advocacy, and continued support. Especially during this season, it is important to note a frequently used quote, “We must not forget that the highest appreciation is not to just utter words, but to live by them. There is a calmness to life lived in Gratitude, a quiet joy.” We wish each of you the joys of this holiday season.
Since its inception, the purpose of the College & Career Expo has been to provide exposure to our Scholars of the myriad of college and career opportunities available for them to pursue. We have found that they gain so much more insight when they can speak one-on-one with college students and staff, corporate employees, and have their own specific questions answered.
Our Annual College & Career Expo and the newly-launched Pre-Apprenticeship Program ARE our mission. We are embracing what has been effective and adding new programming to further our reach and effectiveness.
