YMWIC 14th Annual Scholarship & Awards Banquet

The YMWIC 14th Annual Scholarship & Awards Banquet took place at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel on Thursday, May 23, 2024. At this eagerly anticipated evening of fellowship and fun, Scholars were at their best, joined by YMWIC Supporters and Partners, families, friends, and the community. We honored our Scholars for their accomplishments during the Program Year and acknowledged our graduating Scholars, presenting them with the college scholarships they earned.
In addition, we recognized Industry Executives and Community Champions and presented them with the following awards: WEST IMPACT AWARD ifm efector, inc., accepted by Ms. Shannon Michalkiewicz; EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR SECONDARY EDUCATION, Dr. Christina L. Carr (Taylor); EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION, Dr. Brandon J. Mitchell; and COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD, Mrs. Frances M. Sheehan.
A wonderful time was had by all in attendance.
