The 2024 YMWIC 19th Annual College & Career Expo

YMWIC presented its 19th Annual College & Career Expo on Saturday, November 9, 2024. College and Corporate representatives were on hand to provide Scholars, Parents and community members with valuable information on finance, admissions, the FAFSA form, careers, apprenticeships and social/community issues, and much more!

For the morning session, experienced professionals in health, education, finance and business provided Scholars, families and the community with valuable information in workshop format. Participants were able to attend four 30-minute sessions with topics of interest to them and meet with presenters to have their questions answered.

In the afternoon session, over 30 partnering universities and corporations participated in an Expo in which they provided important information about College Requirements; the College Admissions Process; Financial Aid; Careers in STEM, Business, Law and much more. Participants were able to meet with the representatives one-on-one.
