20th Annual College Expo 2025

YMWIC hosted its 20th Annual College & Career Expo on Saturday, November 8, 2025. College and Corporate representatives were on hand to provide Scholars, Parents, and community members with valuable information on finance, admissions, the FAFSA form, careers, apprenticeships, social/community issues, and much more!

During the morning session, participants received valuable lectures and information about matters in health, education, finance, and business. This information was administered to Scholars, families, and the community in a workshop format. Participants were able to attend four 30-minute sessions with topics of interest to them and meet with presenters to have their questions answered.

During the late morning session, participants met our YMWIC Alumni Panel to learn about their experiences in college and how it is preparing them for their next phase.

During the 12:00 PM afternoon session, over 20 partnering universities and corporations participated in an Expo to provide important information about College Requirements; the College Admissions Process; Financial Aid; Careers in STEM, Business, Law and much more. Participants were be able to meet with the representatives one-on-one.
