SUMMARY:YMWIC 2024 STEAM & Language Arts Camp
DESCRIPTION:The YMWIC 2024 Elementary School STEAM & Language Arts Camps was an exciting\, educational\, and fun-filled six-week experience for rising 1st through 8th grade junior Scholars. They enjoyed great experiences exploring new concepts in math\, chemistry\, biology\, computer science\, robotics\, language arts\, reading\, art\, and much more!! Campers participated in fun hands-on learning projects\, completed and presented science projects that piqued their curiosity\, and went on exciting field trips.

SUMMARY:2024 YMWIC Upward Bound Summer Program
DESCRIPTION:Young Men and Women In Charge Foundation\, Inc. hosted our 2024 YMWIC Upward Bound Summer Program for 8th through 11th grade students who meet Upward Bound requirements. The Program took place on the campus of West Chester University of Pennsylvania. This six-week experience enriched and exposed\, and prepared Scholars for college; while providing insight into future employment opportunities. They experienced projects in the arts\, entrepreneurship\, mentoring\, leadership\, golf and much more.

DESCRIPTION:If you have a student who is a rising 3rd – 11th grade student in the Chester Upland\, Coatesville\, Norristown\, Phoenixville\, Upper Darby\, West Chester\, or William Penn School Districts\, or at Edmonds Elementary School\, Frankford High School\, Furness High School\, or Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia\, and you are interested in having them become a part of our dynamic and rewarding Program\, register them for the YMWIC Pre-College After-School Program. \nOur Program provides immersive and hands-on on-site opportunities for experiencing STEM\, business\, and the Arts. We offer after-school workshops\, Community Service events\, a Science Expo\, and tutoring; as well as College Prep\, College Tours\, and College Scholarships\, and assistance with college Financial Aid and applications! \nClick this link to discover what YMWIC has to offer you and your family\, and complete the Student Information Form.
